Would Leon Kennedy Make Use of Kettlebell Weights?

By Rob Sutter

After taking part in "Resident Evil 4" yesterday, it's dawned on me just how much Leon Kennedy has to cope with. The main character of the game seems to be burdened - to say the least - not just with a lot of infected zombie-like humans but protecting Ashley, the daughter of the game's president. For the most part, Kennedy does his job well but I think that he could stand to be even stronger. This is why I endorse the application of kettlebell weights more than just about anything else.

Being a trained ex-police officer in his own right, Kennedy knows how to defend himself. Like any specialist you may think of, he's a good shot with a gun and he will be able to take the fight to just about any supernatural or infected creature that stands in his way. He's also helpful in terms of hand-to-hand combat, being able to change between the two styles of battle in a seamless way. However, I can't help but feel as though he's routinely met with beings stronger than he is.

Jack Krauser is, in my mind, one of the more formidable opponents that Kennedy has come across during the game. For those who don't know, he was one Kennedy's partner when they were officers until he was supposedly dead. However, he came back and he returned with a form that possessed more of a mutant ability than anything you could consider human. This granted him a new level of power, which only made him more of a challenge for our main hero to take on and overcome.

Kennedy has a great level of power to consider and I think that, no matter what limits he has as a human, it can be expanded. Kettlebell weights are the fashion which I recommend since they work to help the body as a whole without focusing on a single idea. Everyone has a certain capacity in which they can become strong but who's to say that it can't be challenged? I believe that this can be the case, especially when you have names along the lines of Lorna supporting said exercises.

Kennedy proves to be more of the more robust action heroes seen in gaming but he is still very much human. He's going to encounter mutated creatures of likes of which we can only envision in the world that we live in today. The issue is that Kennedy only has so much in the way of security, seeing as how manmade weapons are his only means of guarding himself against such beings. When up against such odds, he could use all of the strength he can gather.
