As a result of low methodological quality, the discipline has continued to be viewed negatively in conventional medicine

Studies of its effect on the health of the heart have shown that it reduces blood pressure, improves signs of heart failure, and improves cardiac rehabilitation. It may also lower cardiovascular risk factors. This exercise can help in achieving better results when used along conventional treatment for several different medical conditions.
